Install the connector

For an administrator of an Anthropic Team or Enterprise workspace. You install once, for the whole organization.

What you need first

  • Admin rights in your Anthropic workspace. If you cannot see Connectors in organization settings, you do not have them.
  • Your NobleCloak connector URL. We issue this per deployment — it is not a URL you can construct or guess. If you do not have it, ask us at support@noblecloak.com before going further.
Current shared-tier URL

Organizations on the shared tier today use https://mcp.beta.shared.bianoble.com/v1/mcp.

Dedicated and on-premises deployments each get their own URL, so use the one we issued you rather than copying this. If you are unsure which applies, ask before installing.

Steps

  1. In your Anthropic workspace, open Organization settings → Connectors.

  2. Choose Add connector, then Custom, then Web.

Custom is correct — NobleCloak is not installed from the connector directory. Web is correct because the connector is a remote server we host; there is nothing to run on anyone's machine.

  3. Paste your connector URL.

  4. Confirm. Claude contacts the server, reads its published metadata, and registers it for your organization.

At this point the connector is installed but nobody is signed in yet. Installing makes it available; it grants no access to anything on its own.

Verify the install

The honest check is to use it, not to look at the settings screen.

  1. Open a new Claude conversation — as yourself, on any surface.
  2. You will be asked to sign in to NobleCloak the first time. Complete it. See Authentication for what that flow grants.
  3. Ask Claude what NobleCloak tools it has available.

If tools are listed, the install is good. If Claude reports none, that is a real signal and not a cosmetic one — go to Troubleshooting rather than reinstalling, because a reinstall does not fix any of the usual causes.

Rolling it out

Once installed, tell your people two things:

  • They sign in individually. Their first NobleCloak request in Claude prompts them; there is nothing to install on their side.
  • They will not all see the same tools. Tool visibility follows entitlements and each person's permissions. That is intended, and Troubleshooting explains how to read it.

Removing it

Remove the connector from the same Organization settings → Connectors screen. Removing it stops new calls immediately. It does not delete the Execution Ledger history of calls already made — that is an audit record, and it is retained under our privacy policy.
