The NobleCloak plugin for Claude Code

A plugin that connects Claude Code to your organization's NobleCloak workspace, and applies your organization's governance rules to the tool calls in your session.

This page is for the developer deciding whether to install it. If you are an administrator looking to enable NobleCloak for people using Claude Desktop, claude.ai, Cowork or mobile, you want the Claude connector instead — different surface, different audience.

Read this part first

The plugin installs hooks that observe every tool call in your Claude Code session — Bash, Edit, Write, Read, Glob, Grep, WebFetch, Agent, and MCP tool calls — and reports each one to NobleCloak.

That is the point of it, and it is also the thing you should decide about before installing rather than discover afterwards. So, plainly:

  • Raw tool input never leaves your machine. For each call the plugin sends a content digest and a deliberately lossy summary — the first word of a command, a file path, a domain — never the command, the file, or the URL.
  • It is audit-only by default. Nothing is blocked unless your organization explicitly turns enforcement on.
  • It is still a record of your local activity. Lossy is not nothing. You should install it understanding that, and the Privacy and governance page sets out exactly what is sent, field by field.

What you get

  • Your workspace in the session. Journeys, tasks, and the rest of your entitled NobleCloak tools, callable from Claude Code through the same governed gateway everything else uses.
  • Governance that follows you. The rules your organization sets apply to local tool calls too, not only to calls that go through NobleCloak — so a policy is a policy wherever the work happens.
  • An audit trail your organization can actually read. Calls land in the Execution Ledger alongside everything else, rather than being invisible because they happened on a laptop.

What it adds to your session

Commands/bianoble-login, /bianoble-logout, /bianoble-status, /bianoble-connect, plus workspace commands for journeys, tasks, and next steps
AgentsA workspace assistant and a dedicated planning agent
HooksSession-start token refresh, and the governance hooks described above

Getting it

The plugin is distributed to NobleCloak customers rather than published openly. If your organization has a plan that includes it and you do not have access yet, ask us at support@noblecloak.com — then work through the install guide.
