The NobleCloak connector for Claude

The connector makes your organization's NobleCloak tools available inside Claude. Once an administrator installs it, the people in your organization ask Claude to do things — check a task, look something up, kick off a workflow — and Claude calls NobleCloak on their behalf, under your organization's governance rules.

Who installs it

An administrator, once, for the whole organization. This page and the install guide are written for that person — someone with admin rights in your Anthropic Team or Enterprise workspace. Individual users do not install it and do not need to configure anything.

That is the main reason to use the connector rather than asking each person to set something up: one admin install reaches every Claude surface your organization uses — Claude Desktop, claude.ai in the browser, Cowork, and mobile — with the same tools, the same permissions, and the same audit trail in each. There is no per-surface setup and no per-person setup.

Each person still signs in individually the first time they use it, so their actions are attributed to them and governed by their own permissions. Signing in is not installing.

What it is, technically

The connector is a remote Model Context Protocol server that NobleCloak hosts. Claude connects to it over HTTP, discovers the tools your organization is entitled to, and calls them when a conversation calls for it. Sign-in uses OAuth 2.1 — no API keys are copied around, and nothing is pasted into a user's settings.

The authentication guide covers the sign-in flow and the permissions a user is granting.

What people see

Which tools appear is not the same for everybody. Claude is shown only the tools that both your organization is entitled to and the signed-in person is permitted to use. Two people in the same workspace can legitimately see different tools, and someone seeing fewer tools than a colleague is usually correct behavior rather than a fault. Troubleshooting covers how to tell the difference.

Every call is recorded in the Execution Ledger, the audit log scoped to your organization. What that records, and what leaves a user's machine, is set out in our privacy policy.

Before you start

The connector is available to organizations with a NobleCloak plan that includes it. If you are not sure whether yours does, or you do not have your connector URL yet, contact us at support@noblecloak.com before working through the install guide — the URL is issued per deployment and is not something you can construct.
